Woofy Cafe

Woofy is a pet-friendly cafe in Hong Kong seeking a brand identity to match its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Therefore, the creative direction centers on visualizing the joyful interactions between pets and their owners, highlighting the community feel of the space.

 

The identity draws directly from the playful onomatopoeia of the name. A custom soundwave motif, representing a dog’s bark, acts as the core graphic element. This line work is integrated into the logo and broader collateral to create a dynamic and recognizable symbol for the brand.

 

A palette of warm beige and soft black gradients was selected to complement the cafe’s interior design. This ensures a cohesive experience from the brand’s visuals to the physical space, resulting in an identity that is both casual and inviting.

Branding – Graphic Design

The graphical icon is a linear line of a dog running happily and barking towards its owner – it visualises the happy moment and interaction between the pet and the pet owner, as if they are enjoying themselves in Woofy. Also, woofy represents the sound to the woof. Therefore, a line metaphoring soundwave is used for visual representation.
